Marrakech to the south

 

Day 01 : Marrakech - Ouarzazate

Departure from Marrakech ,to the deep south of Morocco, to Ouarzazate, crossing the Tizi n Tichka 2260m the highest mountain in the country , later, join telouete ,visit the Kasbah of telouete, the highest Kasbah in Morocco. And former un-walling of Glaoui; (pasha of Marrakech) at about 45km , take the runway, through the Berber villages of the atlas and descent in Ait Ben Haddou, the most and best preserved fortified village of Morocco; classified by UNESCO; World heritage of Humanity. This wonderful landscape inspired many films like Lawrence of Arabia and diamonds ... arrival in Ouarzazate, the capital of the cinema, then, pay a visit to the film studios. Night and dinner at the hotel.

 

Day 02 : Ouarzazate – Todgha Gorges

Departure after breakfast, towards the road of the one thousand Kasbahs , Lake of Ouarzazate, Palms of Skoura, visit the Kasbah of Amridil, then take the road to Kelaa M'gouna, starting from Kelaa mounted on the Valley of roses out to the track in the gorges of Dades. Rise in magnificent gorges among a succession of ksours, Kasbahs , in the middle of orchards, take a troglodytes Trail to join the Dadés Gorges, Boumalne dadés,where you can have tea among the nomads , Continuation up again later in the Dadés Gorges, have lunch, walks in the beautiful groove, take the road of one Thousand Kasbahs till Tinghir, spend the night at the Todghra Gorges, walking in the beautiful area, dining and Housing in the hotel or a guest house.

 

Day 3 : Todgha Gorges - Merzouga

Departure after breakfast to visit Merzouga, Lunch in Erfoud, continue till Merzouga, watch the sunset in the dunes and overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 04 : Merzouga - Zagora

Departure ,after breakfast, towards the Draa Valley to visit the Berber villages and the inhabitants of the Draa, discover the diversity of cultures of the region. Lunch in N'kob, direction towards the valley of the Draa, discover the largest oasis of the southern of Morocco, across the palms and Berber villages. Arriving in Zagora ;the door of the desert, and the ancient central transit caravan to Niger and Mali, dinner at the hotel.

 

Day 05 : Zagora - Chegaga

Departure after breakfast, to M'hamid,visit Tamgroute Kasbah, and the Koranic library, continue to M'hamid, lunch there, visit the villages, take the trail of caravans to Chegaga; about 6o km ,visit the sacred oasis, reach Chegaga, riding a camel, discover the sunset, accommodation in the tents of nomads ;bivouacs in the desert under the beauty of stars, have a dinner meal.

 

Day 06 : Chegaga - Marrakech

Departure, after breakfast, through foum zguit direction via the desert of Chegaga, visit the iriqui Lake, take the trail up foum zguid, stop at Taznakht for lunch, continue by the road to Marrakech.
